Β AfterΒ many years of borrowing the inspiration from a red nail polish to the respected red sole, Christian Louboutin has returned its fame from his shoes back to his new nail lacquer. Β The signature red of Christian Louboutin, Rouge Louboutin (HK$450) was born in July 2014.
Same as the Christian Louboutin shoes, the design of the Rouge Louboutin isΒ trulyΒ iconic. Β The nail polish bottle well represents their brand in βheelsβ. Β To me, it has become my decor objects on top of my dresser. Β I simply love it.
The texture of the nail lacquer is very rich. Β It smooths on the nail easily and can cover the surface of the whole nail by just one layer. Β To capture the richness of red, Iβve put on 2 layers in my pictures. Β As a Louboutin red sole fan, I canβt explain how I am excited by having my nail matching my sole. Β Fantastic!!
The only one thing I would comment is a good base coat is necessary and donβt leave on your nail lacquer too long as I found minor stain to my nail after I removed it.
Christian Louboutin first launched their nail lacquer in their signature red in July. Β More colours are coming by the end of August 2014. Β Stay tune. π
