Street Style in Down Jacket

It was like freezing in Hong Kong these few days.  Never experienced such serious cold in my home town.  Accelerated with the rain and the wind.  Humidity makes the weather even harsh.  However, it can’t stop me going out during weekend.  A down jacket to keep me warm and guard against the wind seems inevitable.  I am not a down jacket person (many HK people wear down everyday in winter, no matter its 5 degree or 18 degree.  Hahaa!), I don’t like the thickness and the bulky shape of a down jacket.  Until I found the Duvetica two years ago.  It is extremely light, stylishly crafted in many colours,  yet it’s functionally keeps me warm.  See the details of my street style in down jacket below.

OOTD 24 Jan 2016

Down jacket: Duvetica “Eeria” Jacket (I got it from Farfetch seasons ago.)

Sweater: Frame Denim “Le Boyfriend” cashmere sweater (AW15, I got it from Lane Crawford.)

Jeans: Acnes Studios Skin 5 Pocket Mid-rise Skinny Jeans (Mine is from mytheresa.)

Shoes: Acnes Studios Jensen Leather Ankle Boots (AW15, I got them from Net-A-Porter.)

Bag: Mansur Gavriel Large vegetable-tanned leather bucket bag (I was so lucky to grab one at matchesfashion.)

Scarf: Saint Laurent Scarf (past season. Found some similar here & here.)

Sunglasses: Celine New Audrey (I bought this in Macau new Celine shop)

Ring: Vita Fede Titan Two Tone Ring (Bought from Shopbop.  I found another one similar here for you.)

For colour, I keep this style all in simple black and grey, except the shoes to stand out in burgundy.  Remember, try not to have more than 3 colours in an outfit.

Hope you like this post about how I style my down jacket.  Till next time. xxx ❤ xxx
